WEE Pros is implementing the project “Principles of Just Energy Transition (JET) and Investment Planning” in Jordan in partnership with Dajani Consulting, under the UNIDO–ILO Joint Programme “Promoting Just Energy Transition for an Inclusive Economy in Jordan.” The initiative supports national efforts to advance a low-carbon, inclusive economy by strengthening institutional capacity for climate-aligned and socially responsible investment planning.
The project focuses on building the technical skills of policymakers to apply JET principles in practice, align investment planning with Jordan’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), and integrate social dimensions such as green job creation, gender equality, and protection of vulnerable groups. Through structured workshops and applied case studies, participants explore investment opportunities across the energy, agriculture, and food processing sectors, with particular attention to policy coherence and the energy–water–land nexus.
Implemented through a close partnership between WEE Pros and Dajani Consulting, the project combines expertise in policy analysis, climate finance, investment planning, and inclusive stakeholder engagement. This collaboration ensures that global Just Transition frameworks are translated into practical, context-specific approaches tailored to Jordan’s development priorities and institutional landscape.
By supporting inter-ministerial coordination and the development of bankable, investment-ready project pipelines, the project contributes to Jordan’s broader green growth agenda and economic modernization efforts. WEE Pros remains committed to helping public institutions turn sustainability commitments into concrete, inclusive actions that deliver long-term economic and social impact.
